The body is one functional unit. When one part isn’t working properly, the rest of the body suffers. Corrective exercise focuses on the connectivity between muscles and then finding and restoring imbalances caused by daily use, poor posture, injury, and repetitive motion.
If you regularly wear high heels or sit at a desk, if you’ve got a nagging injury that just never gets better, or if you suffer from recurring headaches, corrective exercise is important for long-term healing. Our bodies often choose the path of least resistance when functioning, though this isn’t what our muscles and joints need. We’ll work with you to retrain your body’s movements in the correct way, strengthen the appropriate muscles, and educate you about ways to prevent injury.
